JJ: Brandi, it's an absolute pleasure for us to have you on Inside the Porn. You're someone i've wanted to feature for a long time so this a big deal. 

How did you get into the industry? 

Brandi: After owning a custom wine label company for a year, we found ourselves at a crossroads. We needed a website and that is when we had our first conversation about "going adult". The web builders asked us about interest in adult websites. To that we said "love them." That began our path down the road to adult. We switched paths and put all our energy and finances into building our adult company. I am very glad that is what we decided to do way back then. It is so much a part of who we are. Seekers of sexual liberation for all!

JJ: Well, diversity is key in business. And you certainly took a big risk but wow it's paid off. 

What's the best thing about the industry? 

Brandi: I certainly enjoy sex on many levels yes, I enjoy exploring a new body and finding all the "spots." I absolutely enjoy getting someone off and watching their body respond to the sheer pleasure that is an orgasm. I have "gotten lost in the moment" many times.

JJ: This industry is certainly perfect for you then. It must be a great feeling knowing you can make money and do something you love. 

What's the worst thing about the industry? 

Brandi: That we are not a united front. I hate it, but as small as an industry as we are... I personally do not feel like we are cohesive and that we support one another. 

JJ: I think sometime the industry can get bitchy and cliques form which makes it harder for cohesion but hopefully it'll keep improving. 

What's been the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working? 

Brandi: Funniest? Sex to me in general is fun, funny,  One can not take themselves and certainly not sex.. too seriously. sometimes certain noises arise and one can do all they can not to laugh. Just thinking about it makes me laugh! Enough said.

JJ: Haha well I'm sure every set comes with a whole range of funny noises. 

What are you doing work wise at the moment? 

Brandi: I am looking forward to having my best year yet! I know that the viewers haven't seen the best of Brandi Love. Not because I haven't been putting my best forward but because there are always ways to improve. I have been working with a voice and acting coach over the past 9 months and have really been exploring different areas of sexuality in my private life. I'm ready to try some things outside of what I have typically shot ..( but that doesn't mean anal .. sorry guys LOL!) My short to mid term goal is really quite simple, I want to continue performing until the passion I feel for something else is greater than the passion I feel for adult entertainment. Or ... until people are sick of watching me Haha.  Long term, I would like to work with someone to develop a way for performers to TRULY make long term, viable careers out of adult entertainment that would continue even after they stop shooting consistently.

JJ: That sounds like you're in for one amazing 2016. And your long term plan is something the industry would certainly appreciate.

JJ: I'm sure no doubt my readers already follow you and are subscribed to your site but if not they will be I'm sure. 

What's the best thing about sex? 

Brandi: It's the worlds most pleasurable activity: No matter the country or study,  the worlds number 1 and number 2 most pleasurable activities are sex and masturbation. Sometimes sex is number 1 sometimes masturbation is.  I get to call that work. Pretty damn lucky!  

JJ: Well those two activities are something everyone should be enjoying. And if not start doing it. Haha. 

What really turns you on? 

Brandi: To steal a line from Forest Gump "sexy is as sexy does." I really get turned on by people who have sexual confidence. They know what they like and are not afraid to say so. They enjoy their bodies and like sharing it with you. That is hot! I admire people who are physically fit, confident not arrogant, intelligent, kind, and have a sense of humour. I like low drama people. Specifically of women, I really dig a woman who can kiss with passion. Deep, sensual sometimes a bit crazy kind of kissing. I am not into pecking on the lips or fragile tongues. I like to go for it. I like when a person can match my physical strength and push back.

JJ: I love the Forest Gump quote you've totally become my favourite person ever haha. I never thought I'd see a Gump quote as part of that answer. 

Speaking of films. What's your favourite film? 

Brandi: Since you did not say what genre I will two part this question. My favorite adult films are by Marc Dorcel specifically "Pornochick" series. As far as mainstream I have several but I real intense one for me is "Braveheart." Solid, strong and fiery tear jerker… I love it!

JJ: Marc Dorcel films are great pieces of work. Everytime!! And Braveheart is a great film. You obviously have a good film taste. 

What's your favourite holiday destination? 

Brandi: As much as I love to travel I would without question say home for the holidays. I absolutely love my home and family so for the holidays there is no better place.

JJ: When you travel lots it's always nice to get home. Because that can feel like a vacation in itself. 

Tell me one thing about yourself I wouldn't know just by looking at you? 

Brandi: Oh boy loaded question. Not to get too philosophical but I would say people don't initially take me as a deep thinker. I love to laugh, am a free spirit and because I am a Pornstar assumptions are made. I am an intellectual, a research junkie, lover of fine wine, boxing and football fanatic. I love to read biographies, watch documentaries, read about great philosophers and follow politics ( as my twitter followers know ). Ok that was several things so I will stop there:)

JJ: I love that question because when I ask if I mostly find out something amazing and you haven't disappointed. A woman with a thirst for knowledge is even sexier than a woman with a thirst for cum. (Although it's a close run thing) haha. 

What's been your biggest achievement so far in life of work? 

Brandi: My greatest achievement in life was marrying the right man. My soulmate, my confidant and the one person for me. He makes me a better woman, a better person. 

JJ: That's a great answer. Possibly one of my favourite answers I've had for this question. I hope he reads this and smiles when he does. Sounds like you're a very lucky woman to have him. 

What's been the hardest thing to overcome? 

Brandi: Errrr hmmmmm…. I guess I would have to say myself if I were being honest. What I mean by that is I have a bad habit of getting n the way of things. I can be on a great streak and mess it up by over analyzing. I can thwart success by fear of success itself. I am learning daily to stay the course regardless of my fears. It is working. 

JJ: That's great you can recognise that about yourself and you can work on it. It just means even more success is in your very near future. 

What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?  

Brandi: OMG where do I begin? I have the most amazing fans. There are to many individuals who have gone above and beyond awesome in my book. Tops however would have to be the incredible group effort I see every December when I do my Toys For Tots campaign. I create a wishlist on amazon of nothing but toys. My fans and followers simply click on a  toy and it is sent to me. I drop them all off at T4T drop locations and together we make a difference. This last Christmas we gave over 300 toys!

JJ: I think it's amazing you do that and I'll certainly be buying gifts off your wishlist for that this year as its a great cause. To anyone who reads this and doesn't agree with the porn industry because it's apparently morally wrong, take a look at what people do in the industry for other people. 

What's one bit of advice you'd give to one one getting into the industry? 

Brandi: Embrace Delayed Gratification! I truly LOVE what I do. I'm not ashamed, I don't have regrets & I treat this as a career. I get paid to explore the worlds most pleasurable activity. It's amazing really. When I first started, the money was insane, it was new to me and I spent like a rockstar. I paid the price for that foolishness. I did not embrace delayed gratification. Now I save and invest every penny. I will still be able to retire from this industry and secure my future but it's impossible to regain the benefit of compound interest over those early years. Or to be perfectly blunt... I gave up about $1.4 million for cars, handbags and ego. I'll never make that mistake again. SO save, take your career choice seriously and above all things remember that you have the most pleasurable job in the world…… act like it!

JJ: You are full of wisdom thanks to the experience you've gained and the fat you're giving that knowledge to people coming into the industry shows what a great character you have. You have seen the pitfalls and have learned your lesson and now hopefully others will take your lead and not waste their money. 

What do you think you'll do once you leave the industry? 

Brandi: That my dear Watson remains to be seen. Of course there are a few things already in the works. 

JJ: Well whatever you turn your hand to once you leave the industry I've no doubt it will be a resounding success. 

Finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've ever heard about yourself? 

Brandi: I can't really recall any odd rumors. The only one I can think of is that people were saying I had "retired" from adult movies. This I never stated. I said I was "transitioning." That said it was not a major ordeal

JJ: Well I'm dreading the day you do leave the industry as you're a great person for the industry, a great personality and you make great scenes. Hopefully you'll be around for a long time to come.
