So tell me how you got into the industry?
Holly: I actually responded to a Craigslist ad to be a webcam model! After doing quite a bit of research, I ended up choosing a different cam site than the one that I had responded to on Craigslist and I jumped into camming. Shortly thereafter, I was approached by Score Group and Plumperpass with offers to do porn. I thought 'you only live once' and decided to do it. Never in a million years did I think it would turn into such a huge thing, or a career path for me
JJ: Well we are thankful for Craigalist then, what are the best things about being in the industry?
Holly: Best thing about it is definitely the freedom! I love the fact that I can be solely responsible for myself and my brand! Being able to be open about my sexuality and desires is great too!
JJ: Freedom is what we all hope for in life and it's a bonus if you can achieve that with work too
So what are the worst bits for you?
Holly: Worst thing about it is definitely the stigma and stereotypes associated with working in the industry. The one thing that really breaks my heart is that there are so many smart, creative, focused and driven women in this industry who are really calling the shots and controlling their futures, but they are underestimated and labeled by people who know nothing of the actual business of porn.
JJ: That's part of the reason this blog exists. To show people what the real people behind the adult industry are like
Do you have any funny things that have happened whilst you've been working?
Holly: Honestly... I have had so many great, funny moments while shooting or at porn events; it is really hard to pick one! If I had to pick one, it would have to have been the time I was shooting Handy Holly for Plumperpass and I was playing a home inspector. During the scene I actually fell down and cut my knee open after tripping on broken concrete at the home the scene was shot at. I found it ironic and super funny! Home inspector injured on location by home defects Hahaha
JJ: Oh the irony. Sounds funny though but glad you were ok
So what are you doing work wise at the moment?
Holly: Well, I just came back from a 1 year hiatus after I got married so I am honestly just trying to get back up to speed! I just shot my first scene since I have been back and I have another scene, my first orgy scene, at the end of this month for JeffsModels.com. Then next month I will be making my return to PlumperPass.com and I am so excited to shoot for them again! I am also getting back to my regular schedule on cam (HollyJaydeXXX.cammodels.com) and I get on everyday! In really exciting news, I just did the soft launch of my website HollyJayde.com and I am planning on releasing a large amount of content to the site by the official launch on February 1st! I am trying to shoot content with other female models and male talent so I can make the site as amazing as possible! I am also campaigning for fans to nominate me for various categories for BBW Con's The Biggie Awards! (BBWcon.com)
JJ: Wow you've got a lot going on at the moment. Good job you had a one year hiatus otherwise you'd be worn out haha

So what's the best thing about sex?
Holly: It honestly depends on who you are having sex with! When I am having sex on camera, the best thing is fulfilling the fantasy. When I am having sex with my Husband, the best thing is our connection.
JJ: And when it's time to relax where to you like to go on holiday?
Holly: I may sound like an old lady but when I take vacations I love to go on Cruises! Brief 3-5 day cruises down to Mexico from LA are the best little escapes for me!
JJ: A cruise is something I've not tried yet but it's certainly on my list of things to do.
Tell me one thing about yourself that I wouldn't guess just by looking at you?
Holly: outside porn I have had a very successful career in corporate America! I am extremely smart and have more business experience than anyone could possibly assume by looking at me! When I took my one year hiatus I actually worked for a major global corporation on Wall Street in NYC. Girls like me who do porn should not be underestimated! We are smart, sexy and bad ass bitches!
JJ: This is always my favourite question as you never know what answe I'm going to get. And as a fan as well as a blogger it's great to see that side of people in the industry.
What is your biggest achievement to date in either life or work?
Holly: My biggest achievement in life has been being a good wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. I place my relationships in my personal life on a pedestal and they mean the world to me. I would feel like a failure if my work or other endeavors came before any of my relationships. I am definitely rich in love and very blessed to have the people that I have in my life!
JJ: That's a very sweet answer actually and speaks a lot about your character.
What do you think is the biggest challenge you've had to overcome?
Holly: Oh gosh... My biggest challenge that I have overcome has to be the personal challenges I have had with myself! We all have that little voice inside us that tells us that we can't do something or we are not good enough. Believing in myself and getting over all the doubts and fears is a huge accomplishment!
JJ: I think that's a challenge everyone on the planet has to overcome at some point. And you did it well.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Holly: I've never had a fan do something outrageously wonderful like send a $1000 tip on my website or anything like that. I do have some really great fans that send gift cards, buy things off my wishlist or are very regularly taking me to private shows on cam. However, I do have to admit that the best thing a fan has ever done for me was marry me! Yes, my Husband was actually a huge fan before we met and fell in love! He's still my #1 fan today.
JJ: A lot of guys who are fans of porn stars suddenly just had a surge of hope haha
Holly: Oh Jesus.. After I got married there was a weird one saying is married a male porn star but that definitely isn't the case.
JJ: What do you think you'll do once you decide to leave the industry?
Holly: Honestly, I probably won't leave the industry until I decide to have a family, which is not even on my mind at the moment. I have been working on my education and non-porn career experiences that whole time I have been doing porn, so I definitely have some other endeavours lined up for when I'm 100% done with porn
JJ: It's so impressive that so many people in the industry are planning for life after porn. It's great to see.
Who are your favourite people to work with in the industry?
Holly: I admire so many people and I have worked with so few. So if I could change the question to favourite people I would like to work with, then that would be better. I hope to work with Karla Lane, Sinful Celeste, Kristi Maxx, Sam 38G.. The list could go on forever. I admire everyone haha.
JJ: A lot of people would love to see you work with those people too!! And finally Holly how will you be spending your Christmas this year?
Holly: With my family and my fur babies all gathered around the Christmas tree.
